THE LOGE
B. Gall Designs $395.00 / pair
Renoir exhibited The Loge at the studio of a photographer friend on April 15, 1874. It was displayed along with the works of Monet, Cezanne, Degas, Pissarro, and others. The phrase "Exposition Des Impressionnstes" was first used by a critic (specifically in reference to Monet's painting, Impression, Rising Sun) to describe the exhibit. Today, the term "Impressionism" describes the work of an entire movement.
